Located on one of the oldest streets of Riga, Šķūņu 12/14 is a masterpiece of early decorative Art Nouveau. Designed in 1902, the facade is adorned with rich stucco, featuring floral motifs and mythical elements. The building is famously known for the “Golden Dog” sculpture perched on its roof. It represents the transition from eclecticism to the flowing, organic lines of the Jugendstil era, making it a must-see landmark for architecture enthusiasts.
